 Rodney Kurtz has been turning wrenches for his father since he was knee-high to a grasshopper. His extensive years of hands-on training has given him an unbeatable knowledge of not only Kawasaki & BRP’s products, but also other brands. Rodney was well-trained very young by his parents about the ins and outs of the business and he continues to educate himself by going to seminars and up-date classes to stay current with not only the service end of it, but also with the changing product technology. Rodney is the second generation of Kurtz’s to run the business and his dream is to one day pass it along to his four boys.
 Michelle Kurtz (Rodney’s wife) joined the staff in 2003 when the business needed help to keep up with the changing market. With a degree in computer information systems, Michelle is not only trying to keep the business current with modern technology, but also keep the business fresh and up-to-date for its customers. She also is continuing to educate herself by going to seminars and up-date classes to stay current with the market. Outside of work, you can find her volunteering for one of her sons’ many activities or just sitting along the sidelines cheering them on. Her motto is SMILE! And the world will smile with you.
 Eugene (Gene) Kurtz, the backbone of the business, started his career as a farmer, which he still dabbles in today. However, his love for snowmobiling is what generated a business that still remains today. His passion, hard-working ethics and dedication to the powersport industry was the foundation for Kurtz Kawasaki. Gene has instilled his hard-working ethics in all his children who all are very successful today. You can still see Gene either behind the parts counter, loading or unloading crates or on the showroom floor.
 Mitzi Kurtz (Gene’s wife) has been there from the start. She dedicated her life to raising her children, the dealership and its customers. She is, without a doubt, the heart of the business. Mitzi still enjoys the customer service end of the business and her extensive knowledge of notary services is always well appreciated. When she is not working at the dealership, you can find her volunteering her time with her local church, which she is the full-time treasurer.
 Brent Wertman came to the dealership as an apprentice. He did his internship at Kurtz Kawasaki and with his strong family values and hard-work ethics, he became part of the dealership family. Rodney quickly noticed his eagerness to learn, as well as his ability to learn. Now as a York Technical Institute graduate, Brent is a qualified full-time employee who is a certified motorcycle technician. His passion for the powersport industry doesn’t stop at his career, he also races a sponsored KFX450R on the District 6 motorcross circuit and rides a ZX-12R in his spare time.
